Qian Yang, O.D.

Dr. Qian Yang is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist who has been providing exceptional eye care since 2016. Born with a passion for helping others, she pursued her education relentlessly to fulfill her dream of making a positive impact on people’s lives through their vision. Qian holds a Bachelor’s degree from the College of New Jersey, where she honed her academic skills and laid the foundation for her future career. Her unwavering commitment to her field led her to the Illinois School of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree, further specializing in comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Yang finds immense joy in her roles as a loving wife and a devoted mother of two children. Her husband and kids are her pillars of support and the driving force behind her dedication to her profession. When she’s not examining patients’ eyes or perfecting contact lens fittings, Dr. Yang enjoys indulging her passion for literature by reading a wide range of books. She believes that a good book can transport you to different worlds and broaden your perspective. Additionally, she loves spending quality time outdoors with her family, engaging in activities that promote a healthy and active lifestyle. Dr. Qian Yang’s life is a testament to her commitment to both her family and her patients. Her warm and caring nature, combined with her professional expertise, ensures that she not only provides excellent eye care but also fosters a sense of comfort and trust in her practice. Her journey from New Jersey to Illinois, and now settling in Wisconsin, and her unwavering dedication to her career and loved ones, make her a remarkable optometrist and a role model in her community.
Emmylou Swartz, O.D.

Dr. Swartz provides comprehensive eye care including examinations for glasses and contact lenses, acute care, and management of a wide range of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration and dry eye disease. Dr. Swartz is also specially trained to fit scleral contact lenses for patients with irregular cornea conditions, including keratoconus, and severe dry eye disease. Dr. Swartz attended Ripon College where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Biology and a minor in Anthropology. She then obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry. During her optometric training, Dr. Swartz traveled across the country externing at a wide range of clinical sites, including a large ophthalmology practice in Iowa and VA medical centers in Vermont and Tennessee. Dr. Swartz began her career at a private practice with offices in the Fox Valley. After getting married and moving to the Milwaukee area, Dr. Swartz worked at Wisconsin Vision for several years before she felt a calling to serve our nation’s veterans. She then transferred to the Milwaukee VA eye clinic where she has been providing comprehensive eye care to veterans for the past 14 years. She continues to practice at the VA part-time. Dr. Swartz is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Society. When away from the office, Dr. Swartz enjoys spending time with her husband and children, gardening, hiking, cooking and cheering on her children at their various athletic activities.
